We hate spam. We will never sell your data to advertisers or third parties. Your Reddit habits stay within our ecosystem.
Deleting Data
If you want to leave the game forever, you can request to have your bot-specific data wiped from our database.
Reddit Rules
Since we live on Reddit, their privacy policy also applies to you. We're just a layer on top of their platform.
This Privacy Policy describes how MemeCurrencyBot and Project Obsidian Anti-Cheat (the "Service") process information within the r/memeexchangecommunism ecosystem.
1. Data Controller
For the purposes of the UK/EU GDPR, the operator of the Service acts as the data controller for ecosystem data.
2. Categories of Data
- Reddit usernames and public profile metadata.
- Post, comment, and engagement metrics.
- Internal currency (MCIC) balances and transaction history.
- Behavioural metadata used for fraud/abuse prevention.
3. Lawful Basis
Processing is carried out under Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f)) to secure the community economy and prevent fraud via Project Obsidian.
4. Anti-Abuse (Project Obsidian)
Project Obsidian performs automated analysis of system interactions to detect manipulation. This monitoring is necessary for system security and fairness. Automated decisions (e.g., bans) can be appealed via human review.
5. Your Rights
Residents of the UK, EU, and California (CCPA) have rights including Access, Erasure, and the Right to Object. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for behavioral advertising.
