Today we present an early preview of MemeCoin V3. This release is focused on long-term engagement, transparency, and personal progression — expanding the ways users earn, track, and celebrate activity within the ecosystem.
Planned V3 Features
V3 is intentionally scoped to deliver high-impact quality-of-life and engagement systems that build on the stability delivered by V2 and the protection provided by Project Obsidian.

Introduce persistent progression, improve auditability, and provide richer reward pathways while preserving fairness and low-friction participation.

- Achievement System (Phase 1): A lightweight badge system awarding milestones for participation, streaks, and positive community behaviour.
- Transfer History: A user-facing ledger displaying recent transfers and activity for improved transparency and dispute resolution.
- Quest System (Daily / Weekly): Basic task loops to encourage recurring engagement and provide predictable reward opportunities.
- Enhanced Shop: Expanded catalog of items and flairs, along with new purchase paths and seasonal releases.
- User Profiles (Basic): Public summary pages showing stats, achievements, and non-sensitive metadata to foster identity and reputation systems.
- Notification System: In-app notifications for earnings, penalties, achievements, and shop events to keep users informed in real time.
How V3 Will Be Delivered
The V3 roadmap will follow a phased rollout to maintain system reliability:
- Internal design & specification sign-off

Community Participation & Testing
As with previous releases, V3 will be shaped by community contributors. Volunteers for development and testing are encouraged to reach out via mod mail. Priority will be given to testers who helped during V2 and to contributors who commit to transparency and responsible disclosure.
Next Steps
Deployment targets will be confirmed after V2 stabilisation and a short pilot test for early Achievement and Transfer History features. We will publish timelines, demo notes, and testing instructions on the Trello board and in mod announcements.
