As part of the upcoming MemeCoin V3 release, we’re introducing a new feature that lets users directly gift MemeCoins to post authors. This gives users a fun way to show appreciation and support quality content across the community.
How It Works
You can now send MemeCoins to a post author by commenting with the following format:

/gift 25 — sends 25 MemeCoins to the author of the
post.
Once the command is posted, the system automatically processes the transfer and updates both users’ balances. The transaction will also appear in your Transfer History for full transparency.
Limits & Safeguards
- Available for: Posts only (comments will be added in a future update)
- Maximum Gift: 50 MemeCoins per post
- Transaction Type: One gift per post per user
- Auto-check: Prevents over-gifting or negative balances
These restrictions help prevent accidents and maintain fair distribution across the community. All transactions are validated in real time to avoid errors or spam.
Security & Anti-Exploitation
The Project Obsidian framework will actively detect and block any exploit farms or suspicious activity tied to the gifting system. This ensures that MemeCoin remains fair, transparent, and free from manipulation.
Planned Rollout
The /gift feature will launch with MemeCoin V3 in
November 2025. We’ll monitor its usage closely and gather community
feedback to make improvements. We also encourage all members to give
their thoughts and suggestions on how to make this feature even
better.
